End of change number 5

Heyo!
This week was pretty good. It is the last week of the transfer so we wanted to work hard to end on a high note. We found some awesome new people and we are excited to teach them about the gospel.  We have been teaching Lesly Calderon and she is really close to having a date for her baptism so we are excited for that. She is really receptive and just wants to learn more about Jesus Christ so she can follow him better. 
This past week we had divisions with the Zone Leaders and that was really cool. They are great missionaries. We got some ideas from the way they taught. We also found an old investigator named Manyer. We hadn't seen him for about 5 or 6 weeks, and then we were walking one day and found him where he was before selling grilled corn again. It was super funny.  We went and talked to him, and he just said he had decided to take a break. 
Also, for the big mission meeting, they decided to make a choir of about 10 missionaries and they put me in it. We are singing Abide with me, but in Spanish. It is super cool, because we have some acapella parts. I am excited for that big meeting and being able to learn a little bit more.

Pday!!!!

So Wednesdays will be my pday. The first week here has been awesome, and I am so excited to be here. In my district there are 10 of us. 8 Elders and 2 hermanas. Our leader, Elder Pututau comitted to play linebacker at Utah, and he is really cool. He is a huuuugee Tongan. For the most part our classes here are all in Spanish, but our teachers are super good. We have an "investigator" he is really one of my teachers, that we have to teach a lesson to everyday, and the lessons have to be in Spanish. Its really hard, but im starting to get a hang of talking about church things in Spanish, i still am not very good at talking everyday Spanish to the Latinos here :), but im working on it. My companion is from Orem Utah, his name is Elder Maynes, and we`ve gotten along pretty well. Sorry if there are any typos in here, this keyboard is really weird, the shift key is about the size of a tictac. So far with our "investigator" we have gotten to the third lesson, and its going ...

Raining fish and 1,000,000 degrees

Heyo! This past week was really good. We were able to teach Jackelin and also Emili. It has been amazing to see the change that has happened in Jackelin's life. When we first found her, she was a little bit beat down by life. But, now she is so happy, and she has a hope for her life that she didn't have before. We are still teaching Jorge and Maria, and they are awesome. Jorge has a desire to change his life, he is just is a little scared that he will mess up and he doesn't want that. But, when we mess up there is always a chance to come back to the correct path. Through the Savior, Jesus Christ, we can truly change, even when we continue to mess up. We can continue to pick ourselves back up, and continue to do what we know is right. Also, this week was the hottest week I have had since being here. The fans have stopped helping, because all they do now is blow hot air on us, and it is worse than not having any fan at all. But, we are finding other ways to cool off. ...

Bracing ourselves to die of heat

This week was pretty good. We had some good lessons with people. Our investigator, Jackelin, introduced us to her little brother and we are going to start teaching him as well. We also have started teaching Maribel, Emili's mom. She has a lot of questions about the fact that families can be forever. It was super cool.  This week we also had divisions with the Zone Leaders. It was super great to be able to see a different way to teach people. We also have a multi-zone meeting tomorrow with Valle de Sula, so that should be really awesome.  Also this is the last week of the change, so I am working hard to try to make the area as good as it can be if I end up leaving  next Wednesday .
